The Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Nagoya, Japan has apparently seen a spike in female tourists because this gorilla named Shabani has an especially muscular frame and good boon structure. Shabani is basically doing the gorilla version of “Blue Steel,” and they totally need to get him to do a cameo in Magic Mike XXL. Pix via Instagram and Twitter.
This video of a lioness and a baby is simultaneously adorable and terrifying
Baby thinks lion wants to play, but I’m preeeeety sure lion is actually hungry to eat baby.
If you’re gonna propose, you’re gonna need a penguin
…and the help of Pittsburgh Zoo.
Baby Lion learns to walk and roar
I mean, c’mon!
BTW, feel free to go ahead and subscribe to my blog, reblog, and/or share on Facebook and Twitter, thx!
It’s like The Crying Game, but with animals
A zoo in China was attracting tourists to see their exotic African lion. Just one thing… it wasn’t a lion, it was a dog. How do we know this? It barked.
Pictured above is a Tibetan mastiff, the same breed of dog used in lion-gate (as I’m officially calling it). Below is the actual
lion dog in question.
Bonus points to the first news organization that uses the new Katy Perry song “Roar” to accompany this story.
