The Sam Smith photobomb is amazing because the people are aware it’s happening, but NOT aware that Sam Smith is the one doing it (despite being at the concert venue where Sam is doing a show). The Hugh Jackman one is amazing because the newscaster doing the story seems totally unfazed by it, as if it’s something Hugh does to her all the time.

This woman tried to snap a pic of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone unnoticed…
…but instead got photobombed by them because they knew what she was doing. Photo via Alejandra Garibay’s Instagram.
Queen Elizabeth photobombed this selfie
I’m glad I live in a world where the only bombing the Queen of England does is of photos. Amazing! (Photo via Twitter)
Jaden Smith wore white to Kim Kardashian’s Wedding
…in the form of a white Batman costume. Because of course. First of all, everyone knows that guests aren’t supposed to wear white to a wedding. Second of all, you know you’ve crossed the line when the douchiest person in the photo isn’t Joe Francis. (photo via Joe Francis’ Instagram)
Beyonce knows she’s actually the subject and not the photobomb
Because taking a selfie to get a sly shot of a celeb is the oldest trick in the book. And Bey is having none of it, haha! (Photo via Twitter)
Jimmy Fallon and Jon Hamm photobomb tourists
My favorite move is the “Lady and the Tramp.”
Ellen’s star-studded Oscars selfie was almost photobombed by Homer Simpson
Well-played, Matt Groening, well-played. (Simpsons photo via Fox, original photo via Twitter).
Beyonce photobombs her fan’s selfie
I hate when people photobomb my pics, which is super hypocritical, cuz I’m totally the type of person that photobombs other people’s pictures. But this is when a photobomb is appropriate: when the photobomber is Beyonce, and the evidence is able to be Instagrammed.

If you’re gonna photobomb, do it on a major network TV event
When I was watching the Emmys last night, I saw this guy photobombing Neil Patrick Harris during a tease for the next segment of the show, and thought it was a joke. I thought for sure this was a bit that was going to be paid off somehow later in the show. It wasn’t. So the photobomb may have been a genuine accident (the photobomber was a writer on the show), OR a brilliant little moment planted in the show to give us something to talk about today. Either way, it’s ALMOST as awkward as all those bizarre Shemar Moore backstage promos during the show (what was up with those)?
